For a side opening Nest box, you will need:
4 Finish nails, 1 ½ - 2 inches long
4 screw eyes
Monofilament fishing line 6-10lb test

For a front opening Nest box, you will need:
4 Finish nails, 1 ½ - 2 inches long
2 screw eyes
2 2 ½ - 3 inch exterior wood screws
Monofilament fishing line 6-10lb test

The monofilament line works as a deterrent to Sparrows- if you get it set up before they start nesting in the box. Bluebirds are not deterred by the monofilament. Please stop by the store with questions and we can assist you in sparrow proofing your Bluebird box!
